MAX NOVEL, ESQ.

Founding Member

​

Mr. Novel received his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, where he competed in the mock trial program and interned at the Office of the Federal Public Defender.

 

After Mr. Novel graduated from law school, he was selected for a Judicial Clerkship with the Honorable John A. Young, Jr., J.S.C. in Hudson County's Criminal Division.​

 

Mr. Novel's practice focuses on criminal litigation in local, state, and federal courts. Mr. Novel has tried numerous cases in state and federal court with charges ranging from murder to official misconduct. Mr. Novel's cases have received coverage in the The New York Times, The Associated Press, NBC News and CBS News.

In addition to an active criminal and civil practice, Mr. Novel has lectured to law students on trial preparation and trial advocacy at Rutgers University School of Law. Mr. Novel also serves as a member of the Criminal Practice Committee of the Hudson County Bar Association.
