Mr. Novel's client faced ten years in state prison on unlawful possession of a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm in Hudson County Superior Court. The jury found Mr. Novel's client NOT GUILTY on all counts.

DEADLOCKED JURY

State of New Jersey v. J.H., et. al. (2024)

After a three month homicide trial involving three defendants, Mr. Novel secured a NOT GUILTY verdict on all firearms offenses for his client. The jury was unable to convict Mr. Novel's client of Murder.

Mr. Novel's client was the only Defendant not convicted of Murder.

Defendant was charged with robbery and faced twenty years in state prison. The jury found Defendant not guilty of robbery.

Defendant was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and harassment. The jury acquitted the Defendant on all counts after only one hour of deliberation.
